Wolfsburg Volkswagen factory
This was the original Volkswagen factory set up before the war. We didnt get to tour through it, just went to the Volkswagen museum which had a huge collection of air cooled VW's, and then we went to the Autostaat which had even bigger collection of cars and displays.
Colditz Castle
Visited the former Colditz Castle which was used during the last war as a POW camp for officers of the allied forces who had escaped from other POW camps previously.
Dresden VW factory
Dresen is where VW custom build the VW Phaeton
This is VW entry into the luxury car market.
It takes 2.5 days to make a Phaeton here, where as the VW Golf takes 3 hours to make at other factories.
Starting price for the poverty pak €123,000.
